Privacy Policy: What This Site Does and Does Not Collect
This notice describes only what is true of this site as built: static pages, no accounts, no forms, no comment system. Where something is handled by a third party rather than by the site, it says so.
OP-FOR is published as static pages. There are no user accounts, no login, no comment system, no contact form, no newsletter sign-up and no search box that submits anything to a server. The site does not ask you for personal information and has no mechanism for receiving any.
What the site itself stores
Nothing. It sets no cookies of its own, keeps no session, and stores nothing in your browser between visits.
What a host necessarily processes
Any web server records the requests it answers. That normally includes the requesting IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page where your browser sends one, and your browser's user-agent string. This is how a server is operated, monitored and defended against abuse rather than an act of collection by this site, and it is handled by the hosting provider and any content delivery network in front of it under their own terms.
Third-party content
Pages are served with their own images and stylesheets. Where a web font is loaded from a font provider, that provider receives the request that loads it. Following an outbound link takes you to a site governed by its own privacy practices, and this notice stops applying at that point.
What is not present
No advertising network, no behavioural tracking, no embedded social media widgets, no visitor profiling and no sale or sharing of personal information, because none of the mechanisms that would make any of that possible exist on the site.
If that changes
Adding analytics, a form, a comment system or an embedded third-party service would change what is processed and would require this page to be updated at the same time. A privacy notice that describes a site the operator no longer runs is worse than a short one, which is why this page describes only what is currently the case.
Questions and answers
Does this site set cookies?
The site itself sets none. It is a set of static files with no accounts, no sessions and no preference storage, so there is nothing for it to remember between visits. A hosting provider or content delivery network sitting in front of it may set its own operational cookies, and any analytics added later would set its own, if that changes, this page changes with it.
Can I comment on an article?
No. There are no comment forms, no contact forms, no newsletter sign-up and no accounts anywhere on the site, which is why this page is much shorter than a privacy notice for a site that has them. Nothing here asks you for information.
What happens when I follow a link to another site?
You are subject to that site’s own privacy practices from the moment you arrive, and this notice stops applying. Outbound links on this site are ordinary links: nothing is passed to the destination beyond what your browser sends to any site you visit.
Who do I contact about this notice?
The site operator, through whatever contact route is published on the site at the time. If no contact route is published, none is available, and this notice does not claim one exists.
