ever since the Marines reinvented their recruiting pitch, they've been kicking ass with these tv spots.

Don't get me started on the lava monster though...

I have seen the Marines perform the Evening Tattoo twice at 8th and I, and once at the Iwo Jima Memorial. I think the first time was in the early 1970's, and the second time was in 1981. The quality of the performance of those Marines didn't vary a whit in all those years, and if this video is even a semblance of how good they are, these guys are just as good. That's a testament to the individual Marines, to be certain, but also to the Corps itself.

They are just awesome.
