History Repeats Itself

By John

Mike Yon's famous photograph has been ripped off. Again.

Mike said of his shot:

Many people say this is the most important photograph of the Iraq war. The image most completely embodies my experience throughout Iraq.

There's a purity to this photo, a pellucid aura that inspires at levels far above our petty bickering over the war in Iraq. To see a candidate illegally and unjustly pollute such a symbol to satisfy a political end is, simply put, disgusting.

"Pellucid?" Who wrote this blog post for you, military boy? I have a personal note from John Kerry here that says you certainly couldn't have. Honesty in blogging, John. Honesty in blogging.

Pellucid...(flipping pages in dictionary)...seems to be a pretty accurate description...maybe the wrong syntax for the word...but definitely paints the picture properly...meanwhile...I'm passing the word.

Thanks for the intel.

F-ed up, but brilliant. Whoever did that political flyer did their homework.

Now, aside from the whole copyright thing (is that even an issue or is the photo considered public property?), does everyone SEE what kind of power PSYOP can bring to the table?

Even those of you who are opposed to the candidate and her use of this photo are "moved" in some way.
