Trust, n:
Letting a couple of limeys fly your $1b stealth bomber!
;)
what an amazing picture…
You can tell they are Brits cause they are flying on the wrong side of the road, (rimshot)
The folks shooting the aviation pix posted on Opfor have some really aamazing shots.
I had no idea stuff like this went on (like Brits flying a B2).
Its cool and all, but does anybody have any idea what the benefits are supposed to be?
It’s supposed to promote greater understanding and cooperation. Since we fight alongside the Brits so much, the better we understand each other’s procedures, the less chance of accidents/friendly fire incidents.
Plus, when we let them fly our cool toys, it makes them really jealous. ;)
Had to throw this in: The KC-10 doing the refueling in this pic is from McGuire AFB, NJ with a Reserve aircrew and ground crew (we just got back from Guam, doing fighter- and bomber-drags in the Pacific).
AndyB,
So, did any one from the NJ crew get to fly a B2?
Seems to me like the guys dumping the fuel ought to spend some time recieving….
Right???
Jaymaster,
Nah… woulda been nice though!
