The Greed of Politicans and the Wants of the Army

There are times we get very upset with our politicians, but our are rank amateurs when it comes to corruption. There is an ongoing scandal in the United Kingdom where Members of Parliament claimed dubious expenses costing the Crown hundreds of millions of pound sterling while the soldiers in the British Army did without needed equipment in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Daily Telegraph, which is one of the best newspapers in the world broke the story and provides in today's editions two articles on how they obtained the information. Here is the first story ; here is the second story. If what is printed is true, Gordon Brown and Tony Blair should be imprisoned in the Tower of London for allowing this to happen. Where is a Margaret Thacher or Winston Churchill when their country needs them.
