I like the nose art photo the best–somewhere I have the very last copy of Soldiers magazine with a pinup in the back–I think it came out in 1977.
On the pilot business–the AF knows that drones are the wave of the future, so it has to prepare its pilot force for that–no more manned bombers or strike aircraft. Only real pilots will be flying cargo aircraft and helicopters 9and ferrying GOs around). Big ego blow. Army? WOs OK–
