That’s Quite an Inheritance

An email from a retired Army officer of considerable repute, a great friend and a loyal reader, who shall remain anonymous; this is 100% true.

An old college buddy and dear friend passed away in May. I went to his memorial service in _____ and found I was heir to his weapons collection which includes a .50BMG M-2HB complete with tripod and T&E mechanism, a 1919A4/6 .30 Cal. MG, two M-1928A1 Thompsons among others. I will be travellin’ back to _____ within the next month to bring them back…

HO-LEE SHIT. And my correspondent is very much able to appreciate and enjoy these items.

Altogether now– HO-LEE SHIT.
