Check out “A Taste of Home in Foil Packets and Powder,” and be sure to read the accompanying article. Pretty interesting, and it brings back good memories for me, from floats to Somalia and the Med. My favorites from foreign MREs:
- The Tommy cookers from the British ration packs
- The chocolate from the Italian MREs
- The curries in the Malaysian rations, which made me shit liquid fire for days
