“Gee, Daddy, what did *you* do during the CAAQATTO?”
The greatest man of the 20th Century, Winston Churchill, was a master of both the written and the spoken word. He used English like a weapon, turning his talents against enemies foreign and domestic in stark, simple terms. I wonder what he’d say about the CAAQATTO?
Never heard of it? Why it is, apparently, the *official* replacement for “GWOT,” or Global War on Terror. I was never a fan of “GWOT” as a label for the war we are waging, but when stacked against CAAQATTO, I’ll take GWOT any day.
So, enter your guesses in the comments, and then later today I’ll spell it out.
