When the banner came across my computer this afternoon, I had a smile on my face. It seems sweet revenge for all the terrible, slanderous statements made against the very Marine Corps in which he once had membership. No tears are going to be shed at my house for that excuse for a human being. We can all rest in peace tonight knowing Murtha can no longer author pork bills for his airport or fill his pockets with backdoor profits.

His Congress years were full of graft and pork, but he was still one of us. Let's not slide down the slippery slope of questioning another's valor. We're losing the ability and willingness to imagine what it's like to be someone else. Remember the warning from the book of Matthew, "And a man's enemies shall be they of his own house". It's better we note his passing quietly than with snortds of derision.

THINGS GET COMPLICATED: According to Fox News this morning, he had his bowl nicked during the initial surgery at Bethesda Naval Hospital and was admitted to the Virginia Hospital Center a few days later with fever; no doubt the beginnings of peritonitis. One can only imagine the libtard conspiracy theorists getting hold of this.
