Snowy Stonewall

By John

In my four years at the Institute, I can't ever remember a storm hitting us this hard. The base of Stonewall's statue looks like a giant snowdrift, the flagpole mount is close to invisible, and the cannons (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) are nearly buried. Many thanks to Cadet A.M. for sending, poor guy was stuck in barracks after finals thanks to this beast.

As a Townie that would never have happened to me, I would have just walked home!

That sucks to be stuck in barrack with no place to go!

It actually wasn't all that bad. The snowball fights were epic and I can't remember the last time I actually got a good night's sleep at the Mother I.

The food was still terrible, though.

My 3rd class son was stuck there after finishing finals as well and sent a couple of similar pix- Stonewall literally was "up to his ass" in snow. I believe that my son's comments were "everything is difficult at this damn place- even leaving is impossible!" Not everything was harder in the "old Corps"- we never had to deal with this!
