My idea of a “truck gun.”
I bought it in December, but just got the stock mag holder and Galco BATTL Sling for my birthday last week. No range time with it yet, but I have begun stockpiling ammo.
Still need to get a scope. The Leupold Mark 4 MR/T, would be nice, but it is a little more than I want to spend…

A good-looking piece of gear! I’d say that’s a fine truck gun… for what you want, the Leupold IER Scout Scope might do well, and it’s cheap cheap cheap.
BR – I think I am going to go with Leupold VX-I 1-4x, which they call a “shotgun” scope. I prefer the “normal” eye relief in a scope. My EER 2X M8 is on my Super Blackhawk, and I still can’t get used to that sight picture.
OT – I will drop you a line when I head out there next. Been a bit too cold and a bit too wet of late to spend the amount of time I need to spend at the range.

Shot a PD grad. of this fine field gun, no wonder they put the long ver. back in field with the USMC! MOST EXCEL for the defence of home with PLENTY of rounds to stock up on….
