There must have been more than a little of Calvin in many of us. There isn't much in the WaPo these days that gets my attention, and few, if any, could be called "funny."

My oldest son is addicted to Calvin and Hobbes, he has 3 big books of C&H. One of my favorites when I was just a bit younger...

Indeed, Calvin is sadly missed by millions of us. To sit and read one of any of Bill's collections means I'm sitting there a blubbering pile of nonsense, unable to breathe from laughing so hard. And I miss the philosophical wisdom of Hobbes...
