Just saw the Corps march past the reviewing stand. We switched from local news to Fox just in time to see them approach, but then Fox cut to a commerical. Switched rapidly to CNN– God help me– and saw the whole thing. They looked good, I must say. Speaking from experience, it’s easy to get out of step because you can’t hear your own band over the crowd and all the other, lesser, bands in attendance, but I saw very little of that.
Good work, men!
Anyone else see it?
Bullnav update:

AUGH!!! You beat me to the punch.
I have been watching CSPAN for the last 1 1/2 hours. The Corps looked GREAT. The First Lady seemed quite taken with them: first you could see her say, “Wow!” and then she was excitedly clapping and waving as the whole Corps passed in review to Shenandoah.
My son thought it was awesome, asking, “How many are there?”
Good show!
Watched the whole thing full screen on CSPAN!! They looked great! The Obama’s really seemed impressed.
Saw them on CSPAN. AWESOME!!! I am from the Shenandoah Valley and I am proud. They represented VMI and the state of Virginia well. Go Keydets.
I am a 1979 grad of the University of Arkansas Army ROTC. Twenty years as an artillery officer and I was never so impressed as I was when I saw your VMI cadets march by. C-Span had good coverage, and I agree with previous posters that both Obamas seemed impressed. I’ve served with VMI grads and can see why they are so proud of their school. My congrats.
Good Gawd they looked sharp! Dressing those lines is tough enough, but they even had their diagonals squared away!
Oh, and how about the size of the corps? I thought they were done after 1st Battalion passed — my jaw hit the floor when I saw 2nd!! Battalion follow up the integrated pipe/regimental band.
Heard from today, anyone?
btw — OUTstanding catch by Bullnav, getting the video up.
I hate to toot my own horn, but the Corps looked superb today. As for dressing down those fifteen man fronts, it’s not an easy task especially considering the weather was in the low twenties and dropping fast.
As for myself, I feel honored to have been a part of it. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
They looked great! Every VMI grad and every American should be proud.
I wish I had seen it. How about posting some pics for those of us who missed it?
As a father of a 2nd Class I couldn’t be more proud. Absolutely outstanding.
BZ son!
The Corps was heard from this day! Without a doubt the Corps was the most impressive unit in the entire parade. Highly professional.
BZ to all hands.
