Inaugural Info

As a public service, we are pleased to bring you this link to Arlington County's Inaugural Website.
As a resident of the national capital region, allow me to add my own advice. Be prepared for delays upon delays, for indignities heaped upon inconveniences, for very cold weather, for a dearth of amenities, indeed a dearth of basic facilities. Be prepared to walk some distance, to and from grossly overcrowded public transportation.
If you have infirmities or are unsure of your ability to stay on your feet for long periods, I would advise you to view the festivities remotely. If you don't like the cold, I suggest that you modify your plans.
I, myself, will stay at home.
Seriously, if you're coming, enjoy yourself but be prepared. There's a lot going on, and patience (and endurance) will be a virtue.
