“This Site Is No Longer Active.” Alas, all good things must come to an end. KduT was the first blogger I ever read, and has been a daily read since, excepting only that period when he had to go dark for a while. Well, at least we can enjoy him in archival form.
And now, even farther out on the suck-o-meter, it appears that NMCI has blocked most of the good sites that formed the bulk of my (brief, mind you) daily reads– Blackfive, Farnam’s Quips, Gunbroker.com, and THIS SITE as well. WTF??
Fortunately, MMM is still authorized.

Air Force still hasn’t blocked us yet.. shhhh
Kim will be missed. His “Let Africa Sink” column was the most clear-eyed assessment of the dark continent that I’ve read.
I hope readers didn’t miss the irony of an Armed Services information provider blocking gunbroker.com. Gad….
It may be a local block or from your G-6. I am writing this from an Okinawa based NMCI computer and all those sites are still available to me.
Hah. I always suspected subversion here.
Well, I did read that the Pentagon was rapidly transitioning to the Obama administration.
Not yet. I’m reading them all from the Pgon at the moment.
I can get to them from up here in The Submarine Capitol of the World (Groton, CT).
You have to go into TOOLS – OPTIONS – CONNECTIONS, select LAN options and de-check the Proxy connection blocks. You will have to do this every time you logon until NMCI pushes the next “fix”.
