But guess what?

Back in the game, kicking ass.

Remember the 17 who gave their lives:

Sunday: after church, before the race begins, take a moment to remember those sailors who unknowingly gave their lives.

  1. LtCol P says:

Most of America didn’t know it, and then of course even after it became yet more apparent, we did jack shit about it.

BR – yep, that really still chaps my ass. No retaliation, no nothing. Not a goddamn thing. To treat it as a law enforcement problem…what a crock of shit.

I still think about the fact that the US retaliated for the Kenya bombings in ’98, but did nothing in ’00.

At least in Beirut the NEW JERSEY was knocking the hell out of targets with her 16″ guns.

  3. Jim says:

They did not give their lives, their lives were taken from them by a bunch of SOBs.

  4. Seg says:

I remember this and the Embassy bombings, most Americans didn’t give a scheize. Then they were shocked about 9/11 just as they are shocked about the economic situation now. I’m just really worried about what is the next the thing we will be ‘shocked’ about even though you could see it a mile away.

    RIP

  6. David says:

Why is the Cole in the top picture numbered 27, while the Destroyer in the bottom picture is numbered 67?
