Kid Rock, Dale Jr., and the Army National Guard

While I was at drill the other day, my wife took my son to see a movie and told me about this Kid Rock video they showed that she thought I would like.
I looked it up and it pretty much kicks ass.
Go to National Guard Warrior to watch it.
Detroit Rock City's own Kid Rock singing a version of "Jackson, Mississippi" called "Warrior," Dale Jr. rolling at 180 mph in the #88 Hendrick Motorsports National Guard Chevy Impala SS, and Guardsmen doing what they do.
An impressive video and it looks to me like a great recruiting tool.
Of course I like the reference to Citizen Soldiers, AND Kid Rock, AND NASCAR.
Almost makes me want to join up...

Kid Rock is pretty terrible. But I guess if your idea of a good time is to watch people drive in circles, it's not exactly surprising.

Well, I like Kid Rock, I like NASCAR, and the military. So I think the video is great and it is no wonder that Dale Jr. is the most popular driver in the sport.
Well, I'm not a fan of Kid Rock or NASCAR but, I did like the video and was unexpectedly moved by it. I saw it before watching the movie Traitor which I highly recommend. A very good thriller that takes on modern issues (GWOT, Muslims, intelligence gathering, etc.) that I'm surprised isn't getting more press.
Not into NASCAR, but big fan of Kid Rock. Became an even bigger fan of his after hearing/reading some of his political opinions and watching (via YouTube) him perform for the deployed troops in Iraq. This just cements my appreciation for some of the good things he does with his celebrity status.
And dude, BullNav, you like Kid Rock? Sweet. I like this site even more now. heh
Is the the same Kid Rock who cut a hole in the Colors and used them for a poncho?

eh, if you don't like him, you don't like him. I doubt anyone cares enough to try and convince you otherwise.
I liked citizen soldier by 3 doors down better
