MARSOC Artwork

By Slab

Some of you may remember a post I did some time ago about fellow Institute man Michael Solovey's sketch entitled Thus Ever To Tyrants, honoring VMI alums who have participated in the War on Terror. I have a print hanging up in my "Man Den" at home, along with my other VMI and Marine Corps mementos.

Michael contacted me again last week, and this time he has a sketch honoring the Marines of MARSOC. It looks like yet another great piece of artwork. Take a look, and then cruise on over to Michael's website to look at his other work, if you haven't already. If you have... go take another look for good measure.

In typical fashion, MAJ Solovey's artwork website is blocked as "may have malicious content" by the 5-sided building IA folks...

All,
Appreciate you posting the new MARSOF "Precision Pride" print for me. Final print image is posted on my site (www.soloveyart.com). All the prints are signed & numbered and ready for release next week. This print is also in memory of Corpsman Luke Milam (Upper left-hand corner). I spoke with his family this week and have given the original to them. Please keep them in your prayers. If interested in one of these prints (they are going quickly already) please send me an email at soloveyart@earthlink.net. Appreciate the support. Semper Fi!
