The arlines are having a rough time of these days, but they still manage to come through in the clutch and make someone’s day. This past friday, USAirways took care of about two dozen Marines on a flight from Reagan National to West Palm Beach. The delightful Tina– daughter of a 32-year-career three-war Marine– let everyone know that some of America’s finest were on board. The whole plane cheered; and if it wasn’t the whole plane then the few non-cheering punks hid themselves well. She also quietly passed out a couple free drinks here and there.
Small gestures, greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Tina.

Good on them-good going
