Is the C-17 Worth the Price Tag?

If we were going off of lift capacity and range.... maybe.
Add the "stop-on-a-dime" short field landing ability.... probably.
Throw in engines capable of producing totally rad mini-tornadoes... definitely.

Wing-wiper you say? That'd be me. FOD is minimized by keeping the engines waaaaaay off the ground. That's it. Ever stand next to one of these things? Even better, ever service one of these engines?
