By John

This is pretty good stuff. Off Col P's virtual wetting down...

Makes a great bloody mary.

What can I say? Col P is a good VMI man. He knows his booze. Going to stack the shelves with this stuff.

Maybe even ping Vodkapundit. Yeah,

It's that good.

What's ya'lls fav vodka? Or booze, for that matter?

Jack Daniels Single Barrel. And it's not to be mixed with anything... good ol' fashioned sippin' whiskey made in a dry county.

Knob Creek and Maker's Mark.
I'm told by Russkies at work that Grey Goose is pretty good clear spirits.

Beer (different brews for different occasions, but never light beer -- it gives me wicked heartburn)

Rum (Bacardi always works)

Not a big wine fan; those dudes are some pretentious SOBs!

Whiskey: A.H. Hirsch Reserve

Whisky: Bunnahabhain

bullnav   ·  November 11, 2007 02:08 PM

Beer: Sam Adams or Pilsner Urquell in the widely-available category, Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale in the narrowly-available set

Scotch: Aberlour (daily ration) or Laphroiag (Sunday-go-to-meeting)

Vodka: Belvedere! God Bless the Poles.

Wine: Tuscarora (Red and White) from Rockbridge Vineyards, Raphine VA. (Only a mile and a half off I-81!!)

Belvedere, hands-down. Getting vodka from France is like getting sushi from a bait shop. Although, there's a Kalishnikov vodka I've been dying to try out...

Elmer T. Lee. (The Hirsch is only for special occasions.)

JOHNNIE WALKER

BLUE
Only on the Birthday of course!
Would be nice to know what they were hoisting on that very day in the TUNN TAV.
Maybe some micro-brew wizard could re-produce
such a liquid. THAT would be a most rightous
toast!!
