Quote(s) of the Day: Warrior Talk
By John
Because after all the shaky-kneed sissy talk post-Petraeus testimony, I'm feeling the need to honey your ears with dialect of real men.
Now there's another thing I want you to remember. I don't want to get any messages saying that "we are holding our position." We're not holding anything. Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy. We're going to hold onto him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the ass. We're going to kick the hell out of him all the time and we're going to go through him like shit through a goose!
Marine General James Mattis, to Iraqi tribal leaders:
I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I'll kill you all.
Language so sweet it makes me want to light up a smoke and cuddle.

So what do you think General Mattis really means........
Now that's some motivating shizit!!
"Language so sweet it makes me want to light up a smoke and cuddle."
Hilarious!!
Ooh rah!
Man, that's enough to make a guy reenlist.
I love General Mattis. You know he's been shifted to a uniquely political role for someone of his bravado recently - Commander JFCOM. That also puts him in charge of NATO Transformation Command and a few other things that will give us a lot more opportunities to hear his marvelously blunt Marine opinion I hope.
General Mattis is like a modern day chesty puller.
General James N. Mattis "The Warrior Monk" call sign "Chaos" is a Marines Marine. I have had the honor of talking with him on several occasions and he is a brilliant true leader in which I am proud to look up to.
Semper Fi Gen Mattis
I'm the Mess Night Rep for my plt at TBS and we just found out Gen. Mattis is going to be our Guest of Honor. Talk about Marines getting excited, the whole barracks lit up when we found out one of the greatest modern day leaders/generals is taking time out of his schedule to be speak to us. I'm sure it'll be something I'll never forget. God bless the Corps and leaders like Gen. Mattis.
Semper Fi!
Lt. Roberts
If there is one man I admire, it is General Mattis. I can read about him all day. I wish I could get him to one of my Marine Corps Balls. I love how he speaks his mind and doesn't go off of a rehearsed speach. We need more Leaders like him. What a shame we don't have more like him. I am proud to serve under him.
What if I think it is wrong to invade a country that has not attacked or provoked us? Do I still have to support the soldiers? Is the morality of the war not important? If you are honest, you have to support this war because you support either the American Empire or the idea of securing oil but the idea that Iraq posed a threat to the biggest military in the history of the world is naive. About as naive as saying Iran is a threat.I saw a bumper sticker on a car recently which read, " kick their ass, steal their gas", there was also a Marine Corp emblem - there's your truth. sexy lingeriewholesale lingerie of choctawhatchee bay. You can tell by the sparsely populated coastline and the fact that they didnt land on top of an Escalade or H3

Oh my God. What a great way to start the day.
God love Gen. Mattis. His words poetically embody the ethos: No better friend, no worse enemy.
