Just like every other red-blooded, non-communist American male, I watched football for the better part of 9 hours on Sunday. Games were decent. Redskins won, which means it was a good week.
Anyway, I must have seen this commercial a good dozen times during the games, and y’know…. I could’ve watched it a dozen more. Nike hit a real homer with this spot, check it out.
Motivating, no?

Good use of the Last of the Mohicans song. Looks like my Gints have no defense; well at least I have Rutgers. I probably watched 9 hours of college football on Friday-Sat nite (what a loser).
Anyway, as I was watchin that Nike commercial i couldnt stop thinkin about Sgt Bellavia’s book – House to House. This book should be required reading in every US high school. I dont know if REMFs like me can ever appreciate what they did. Well i’m out time to work.
Dude, the LIONS won!
Uh oh, the Liedowns won, what is the NFL coming to?? (okay, it was against Oakland, but it was a win!!)
Great commercial. All I can really say about my Browns is, um, uh, go tribe?
You missed a good one at the VMI-William & Mary game last Saturday. Unfortunately, the game didn’t go well for VMI. The real fun occurred when two Navy Nighthawk helicopters landed on the parade ground. In a not-so-close contest it was choppers 38, tailgaters 0! (What a mess.)
I was not aware that it was football season.
I can tell when it’s football season because the arrest rate on players takes a slight drop.
