Two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the 18th Fighter Squadron fly May 29 over the Pacific Alaska Range Complex in Alaska.     Althouhgh the decision to deactivate the squadrons has been implemented, I can’t help but wonder at how it will affect our security in light of Russia’s renewed anti-American stance. I would hav thought that, if anything, we should be increasing the strength of all branches of the Military. It’s a sad time for those squadrons, and the Air Force. Their service has been very much appreciated.
