Kill Us, Too

By Slab

Thanks to Truth, Life, And Political Honesty, a blog run by fellow ANGLICO Marine Mark D. Glesne, for this wonderful article. If only we can start to see more men like Aslam Abdullah take a stand against the perversion of Islam by extremists like al-Muhajer.

Kill Us, Too: We Are Also Americans
Radical Muslims not worthy of the religion
By ASLAM ABDULLAH

The leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Hamza al-Muhajer, recently issued a decree to its supporters: Kill at least one American in the next two weeks "using a sniper rifle, explosive or whatever the battle may require."

Well, Abu Hamza al-Muhajer, I am an American too. Count me as the one of those you have asked your supporters to kill.

I am not alone, there are thousands of Muslims with me in Las Vegas, and many more millions in America, who are proud Americans and who are ready to face your challenge. You hide in your caves and behind the faces of civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq. You don't show your faces and you have no guts to face Muslims. You thrive on the misery of thousands of Muslim youth and children who are victims of despotism, poverty and ignorance.

it's nice to see that there are those people acctually out there instead of the news asking where are they

Thank goodness, this is exactly the kind of thing I have been waiting for all along. When prominent Muslims denounce terrorism and the world domination fantasies of fanatics, that's a significant step on the way to defeating them.

I am sorry, but until the MASSES and the MULLAHS start speaking like that I am not impressed.

There is only on group of radical moslems in the world, and they live in the usa, and they PREACH tolerance.

Normal, state sponsored, regular islamic thought DOES not preach tolerance...

It is nice to see one or two moslems speak up however they are the radicals (for which i am glad they are) but they are NOT historic or worldwide islam.

Call me a cynic but after 60 yrs of this crap i am tired

sorry about the 2x post

The first thing we must do is stop calling these Islamic Terrorist activities a perversion of Islam. This is the big lie we keep wishing to believe, which keeps our heads buried in the sand. The Quran very much teaches Muslims to exact death on the infidels by whatever means possible. Period. Sorry, but that's just the facts.

Now... this does not mean I disagree with the intent of this particular blot post. Nor do I disagree with Aslam Abdullah.

Aslam Abdullah is just as much at risk of death by these "radicals" as are any of us who do not toe-the-line with strict Islamic submission.

And he, at least, has the guts to stand up and risk death by speaking out.

Lawrence   ·  October 8, 2006 02:26 PM

Actually, he could be considered to be at more risk than the average non-Muslim American. Most of us are considered "infidels", meaning we simply don't know any better because we have not been shown the true path. Aslam, who as a Muslim should already know the true path, has repudiated the extremists and therefore will be considered an "apostate" by the terrorists. And according to their beliefs, it is much worse to be an apostate than an infidel.

So, I'm curious what we are supposed to do once we remove our heads that are "buried in the sand" and realize that Islam wants them to exact death on all of us? Should we declare the entire Umma to be the enemy and eradicate Islam from the face of the Earth? What are you trying to say in that first paragraph?

I sincerely hope Aslam Abdullah is doing something more than writing patriotic articles. We could sure use some more translaters and cultural experts in the effort. Working for peace or joining the military or whatever...we should all be doing something.
