i don't have sound on my office pc, but honestly, at first i thought you were being sarcastic. msnbc? chris matthews? same channel as olbermann? it's got to be a slyly anti-war, bush hit piece.

but i'll take your word...

The soldier that was with SSG Payne and performed those extreme acts of valor and heroism, infantryman SPC Chase Ash - was also awarded the Silver Star (upon his return from Iraq). He too performed under those extreme circumstances and very much so deserved the Silver Star Medal. Both men were heroes as was the rest of his squad - I just hate to see heroes go unnoticed. And although SPC Chase Ash is mentioned, perhaps he just hasn't received all of the credit he deserves.
For those who have fought and will fight, and all American soldiers - hats off. God Bless America.
