Required Reading on Islamic Expansionism

By Lt Col P

Don't want to dampen anyone's weekend spirits, especially now with the onset of fall, surely one of the mst wonderful times of the year. However, duty calls. Michelle Malkin has a long but extremely valuable post containing translations of two op-eds by European academics. For their candor they are now marked for punishment by the you-know-who's.

In the second piece, note the reference to the French king's 1535 treaty with Suleiman the Great. It was that pact that prevented said monarch from coming to the aid of the Knights of St John in 1565!

As the great Jeff Cooper said, "In 1492 we threw the Moors out of Spain. Apparently, we didn't throw them far enough."

Know your enemy, folks, because he definitely knows you.

As a follow-up to the LCOL's point, and just to make the week-end seem particularly bright - recall that Al Qaeda in Iraq announced their expansion goals several weeks ago: "we will rule the world!" Anyone that doubts their intentions is not living in the real world. Note this was Al Qaeda in Iraq - and a group that shall remain nameless wants to withdraw our troops from Iraq because it is tough going. Believe me, going from Iraq will mnake it tougher yet! We either win and that means enduring for the long haul or we accept subjugation and Sharia Law!

Got a questoin. We know the crusades are not what turned back Islamic expansionism: it was, in fact, a group of maruadering Mongols. Do you know who their leader was? I'm writing a story called God Bombs and I'm bringing out several points: 1. Muhammad, failed the true test of a prophet when he led Islam against Mecca the first time, 2. A heretic (in Islam) is anyone who lies, breaks a contract or cannot be trusted; which again is Muhummad when he signed the Houdin treaty with the Pagans, and 3. That God takes the wise in their own craftiness; hence, the fall of Islamic expansionism right when it was perched to secure Europe. Can you help me?
