Rangel Punk-Slaps Chavez

Go to Drudge and read what U.S. Representative Charles Rangel said to hideous Hugo.
Read and be proud: "AN ATTACK ON BUSH IS AN ATTACK ON ALL AMERICANS... 'You do not come into my country, my congressional district, and you do not condemn my president."
That's what I've been waiting for-- any member of Congress or any prominent American to stand up and say to Chavez, "Look, f*ckface, shut your trap and hit the road. Americans can criticize other Americans, you don't rate an opinion."
And I finally heard one.

As a female I suppose I should prefer the word punk over the alternative.
If hugo wants to cause trouble for our country,Lets just boycott his citco gas stations,I for one think that would get him keep his trap shut.

They are just trying to get ahead of Rove and the November burn that Democrats seem to suffer every few years. If Rangel really cared he would have said something at the meeting in Harlem. It's possible that I am just being cynical and the guy meant it, but I doubt it.
First of all, we have enough oil supply( we are the 3rd largest producer of oil)besides the fact that we have the wolrds largest supply of coal. which can be turned into oil and 1 last thing for that thug- punk ass hoodlum..... Dont't singit Bring it!
That was not much of a slap. It came complete witha condemnation of Bush's "axis of evil" comment, a thank you to Chavez for cheap heating oil, and a question of why other oil companies cannot provide this service. My two year old slaps harder than that.
Actually guys, I think you are missing it on this one. Rush had it right in his analysis on yesterday's program (9/21/06). This was nothing more than the left sensing that a "furner" was getting a leg-up on them. They could see the back-lash rising in from fly-over country and thought they had better do something quick. Ol' Chuck is not up in the fall and is therefore expendable. And what better conservative forum than FOX news to get the word out first. You can bet this had absolutely nothing to do with patriotism and everything to do with November. If they were sincere, they would have grouped en masse and called a real news conference on the Capitol steps.
Speaking of FOX news, does anyone know why the Army insists on subjecting folks to CNN in various waiting rooms where TVs are displayed? The waiting room at the USAMRIID clinic at Detrick comes to mind. There used to be a big "don't dare change the station" sign on the TV with CNN blaring. Why not FOX News? Some kind of psych experiment to gauge nausea/diaphoresis induction?
Pelosi also called Chavez a thug. I'll give her and Rangel the benefit of the doubt on this one.
But then there are the useful idiots like Danny Glover fawning all over the thug.
So Rangel said what obviously needed to be said. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
As someone else said, "Dems complain about Chavez beating up on Bush, state that that is their job."
