Ahhh, The Flying Vikings. I see these warriors rolling over town a lot. I watch their drop zone rehearsals from the air and it’s always impressive. God bless them and their 934th brethren.

Oooh yeah…….up until a few months ago, we were treated to these lumbering giants flying low over our house (in beautiful Washington Co., Maryland) often in formations of 2, 3, or 4; and often times more than once a week, courtesy of the WVa Air Nat. Guard in Martinsville. Particularly impressive were the night flights with forward running lights on.

Unfortunately, they lost all of their 130s recently, but we hear they will be replaced in a year or so with C5s. I cant’ wait for that show to begin.
