Fox News’ Jim Angle contacted the Defense Department who quickly disavowed Santorum and Hoekstra’s claims. A Defense Department official told Angle flatly that the munitions hyped by Santorum and Hoekstra are “not the WMD’s for which this country went to war.”
Ah yes, I’ve heard this argument before.

Maybe it’s just me for not searching entire websites for the story, but why aren’t the ‘mainstream’ media outlets reporting this except for foxnews? Man, these people give Saddam Hussein more benefit of the doubt than our own US military! This is a real story, right?
