We had the answer for the hour of shower people, wait until they are inside and singing, shut off hot water.
Works best when half the outfit is waiting outside to witness this and greet them with applause when they come out screamin'.

What a riot!
The shower thing is devastatingly accurate. No matter how much you emphasize it, some people simply cannot grasp the concept of "Navy showers."
We had one Reservist who used to go to the showers at odd times of the day. One dark day, I learned why (I was already there washing up). This guy had an unbelievable arsenal of body washes, shower poofs, scrubs, lotions... and proceeded to shower like he was a Caress Soap commercial. I'd known young ladies who used that kind of thing, but it never occurred to me that another man would... it was disturbing.
Imagine the ribbing he took before he learned to keep that particular activity to himself.
