Lt. Col. Carol Ann Redfield of the Army ROTC program at N.C. State was caught off guard. "This is the first time I know of that anything like this has happened here," she said. "I certainly appreciate that people have different opinions, and they should be able to express them, but I have a problem when they damage property."

PS: If you don't want to fight "our" wars, don't join up. There's no draft, guys...

As some one who lost over 125 pound in order to try and join the military (Marine Corps, Army) I am both outraged and confused. I worked my butt off to lose the weight and then was unable to join because of a heart condition. I am trying to join, to the point of writing a letter to the Commandant. I WANT to be a Marine or Solider. Yet these F%#!s say they won't fight my wars huh? I think that they need to go take civics again. They were obversely not listening (they were probably high) when it was mentioned that there has been an all volunteer military for over 30 years. they probably also missed that fact the the US armed forces is the largest volunteer organization in the world.

just for the record I am a college student with a 3.75 GPA and am from a upper middle class family. poor, stupid, uneducated and with no opportunities, Huh?

Semper FI.

Investigators had good leads, said Sgt. Jon Barnwell of the N.C. State Police Department.

Yeah I'll bet. Aside from any eye witnesses or loose lips in POS101 or SOC101, they have IP addies (easily traced if sent on campus) and the paint cans (including possible fingerprints)and the business where those cans were sold. This will take about a day to solve. It's a good thing the police are involved...for the safety of the perpetrators. I'd already be pounding on their door.

Okay--you don't agree with the war. Fine.

Go protest the people who got the country into the war. Why do something like this? It's ridiculous. It's wrong. It demonstrates nothing except the protestors own stupidity.

Kids are stupid and college kids are even moreso. Ahh, reminds me of the good old days when I didn't have to worry about responsibility.

"We won't fight your wars!"

Nobody asked you to...
